The comprehensive preparatory course with 860 teaching hours includes the specified areas of activity for the examinations (theory examination):

• Corporate management

• Internal and external communication

• Employee management and personnel development

• Training (vocational and occupational pedagogy corresponding to the trainer aptitude test)

• Planning, organisation of processes and calculation

• Procurement and care of goods

• Presentation and marketing (advertising and consulting)

• Production and control

Objects of action (practical examination):

• Theme-related floristry

• Room-related floristry

• Occasion-related floristry

The mixture of theory topics and practical topics are tailored to further development and correspond to the framework plan for the certified master florist. Evidence of the AEVO and plant protection examinations must be provided separately.

Participation in the course is state-supported.

Course and examination fees

For the financing of the fees for further education, there is a subsidy independent of income and assets in the amount of the actual costs of the course, but not more than 15,000 €.Half as a subsidy, and the other half as a loan which is granted by the KfW Bank (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau). After passing the examination, 50% of the loan can be waived.

Masterpiece

In addition, 50% of the material costs for the masterpiece can be subsidised up to a maximum of € 2000.

Loan waiver through business start-up

If you decide to set up your own business after passing the examination, the loan will be waived in full.

Saxony and other federal states grant a master craftsman bonus.

1000 € bonus is offered by the Free State after passing the examination. In other federal states 4000 € bonus are awarded.
